EER-018
Introduction to Digital Computers
Portfolio Guidelines

The objective of keeping a portfolio is to develop a complete and well organized record of the material presented in the course and your accomplishments. Since EE-18 is a prerequisite for EE/CS-152, CSC-040, EE/CS-154, EE/CS-137 and EE/CS-118, you will need to refer back to this material in the future. You should keep all of your class notes, homeworks, prelabs, laboratory reports and exams.

Your portfolio will be graded during finals week. You will turn it in at the final exam.

There are two criteria for the grade, organization and completeness, and below are some questions I will ask when I look them over. An index page and tabs for each section will help to organize the portfolio.

Organization - 50%
Can I find corrected homeworks, labs and exams?
Can I find a particular topic in the notes (K-maps, sequential circuit design, JK flip-flops, for example)?

Complete - 50%
Are all 9 lab prelabs and reports present?
Are all 10 homework assignments present?
Are the notes reasonably readable and complete?
