Union Robot Camp 2001Thursday, July 19th |
| The contest problems were announced Thursday morning. One of the problems was to navigate an obstacle course in the fastest time. |
| Another was a precision challenge. This required that the robots
counted the number of "steps" that they took. It was
also important to program the robot to execute exact 90 degree turns.
|
|
| This was not timed, but points were given for each correct move made in the course. | |
| Then there was the "free style" event where students could show off creative behaviors and modifications to the robots. | |
|
Camp Assistants were busy with hardware fixes and program debugging. |
