Once students had mastered programs to control the wheels to do simple motion, we learned about "if - then" statements. These allowed us to detect when the robot hit obstacles and pressed the contact switches. |
| Finally, we learned about the "for - next" statement that allowed students to control the distance that the robot moved, and the amount that it turned. |  |
